Start buildingHow it works
Points are scattered at random and then pushed apart for a few passes, each one nudged directly away from any neighbour that crowded it — a cheap relaxation that turns a clumpy random scatter into an even one without ever putting the points on a grid. Then every pair closer than the link radius is joined. The radius is the whole drawing: below the percolation threshold the sheet is islands, above it one connected web appears almost at once, and the transition happens across a surprisingly narrow band.
