ThriveDesk

An agentic helpdesk with an AI teammate on the inbox

An AI-powered helpdesk that unifies email and live chat in one inbox, where an AI agent called NEO answers routine customer questions and hands the rest to a human with the context intact.

ThriveDesk is a helpdesk built around the assumption that most of what lands in a support inbox does not need a person. Email and live chat arrive in one place with the usual machinery — prioritisation, assignment, internal notes, a knowledge base that doubles as a public help centre — and an AI agent called NEO sits on top of it, answering what it can and passing the rest along. The distinguishing move is what NEO is trained on: uploaded documents, PDFs, Q&A material, Notion docs, webpages and the team’s own past conversations, rather than a general model’s idea of how support is done.

It is aimed at eCommerce and SaaS teams that need to handle more volume without hiring proportionally — the case where ticket count is growing faster than the support budget and a large share of it is the same handful of questions. The multi-inbox setup suits an operator running several brands or product lines from one team, and the escalation path is the part worth testing first: when NEO gives up, the human picks up a conversation that already has its history attached, which is the difference between a useful deflection layer and a bot the customer has to get past.

Where it is thin is reach and track record. Zendesk and Intercom’s Fin, both listed in this directory, have years of deployments, large integration catalogues and a supply of people who already know them; ThriveDesk has none of that yet, and its named integrations are a short list. Its pricing page also contradicts itself across three different structures, which is a small thing that becomes a real one when you are trying to model a year’s cost. Treat the free trial as the way to settle both questions on your own documentation and your own ticket mix.

Features

NEO, the AI agent

An always-on AI teammate that answers customer queries instantly and gets better at it the more conversations it handles.

Trained on your own material

NEO learns from uploaded documents, PDFs, Q&A material, Notion docs, webpages and past conversations, so answers reflect how this business actually replies rather than what a general model guesses.

Smart escalation

Cases NEO can't finish go to a human with the conversation context preserved, so the customer isn't asked to explain it a second time.

One inbox, several brands

Email and live chat land in a shared inbox with ticket prioritisation, assignments and internal notes; separate inboxes can be run for different brands or departments from the same account.

Live chat with the docs behind it

The chat widget answers from the same knowledge base the help centre publishes, so one edit updates both.

WooCommerce and WordPress integrations

Order, licence and subscription details sit beside the conversation, so an agent answers without opening the store admin.

Use cases

  • Absorbing repetitive product and order questions so the team only sees what needs a person
  • Running support for several brands or departments without a separate tool for each
  • Building a help centre that doubles as the training material for the AI agent
  • Answering order and licence questions without leaving the conversation
  • Giving a small team saved replies and workflows instead of more headcount
  • Keeping response times steady through a launch spike without hiring for it
