Every cell of a square grid holds the same tile — quarter arcs struck from two opposite corners — and the only decision made per cell is which of its two rotations to use. The arcs cross each edge at a set of offsets that mirrors about the edge’s midpoint, so whatever a neighbour rolled, the ends meet: the sheet reads as one continuous set of loops rather than a grid of separate tiles. Bias weights that coin flip, and it is the one control that does nothing at its extremes — at nought or one every tile agrees and the loops straighten into parallel diagonals. The tangle lives in the middle.
