    Head over to WP-Deadline download page on www.wordpress.org and download the wp-deadlines.zip file. In this .zip file, you have everything you need.

Installation

Installing WordPress

To install this plugin, you must have a working version of WordPress already installed on your server. If you need help installing WordPress, go through the link and follow the instructions: Installing WordPress

Installing The Plugin

Its an absolutely simple process to install the plugin on your WordPress site. Follow the instruction below.

  • Log in to your WordPress Administration Panels.
  • Go to Plugins> Add New then click on the Upload Plugin button at the top of the module.

  • Click on Choose File and select the downloaded wp-deadlines.zip file from the directory you saved.

  • Now, click on Install Now button to let the installation process begin.

Activate WP Deadlines

  • Roll over to Plugins> Installed Plugins

  • Find the WP Deadlines on the plugin list and click on the Active button to activate it.

Once you are done activating WP Deadlines, an additional menu named Deadlines would be found on the left sidebar.

Date

WP Deadlines

  • Countdown Type : This option lets you select either Deadline or Evergreen from the drop-down.

Deadline countdown type means the timer is to be set for a particular time and it would end after it reaches the targeted time. On the other hand, evergreen countdown allows you set the timer always appears on the site front-end.

  • Select Date : Select a date as well as time when you want the countdown timer to be stopped.
  • Select Timezone : Select the time-zone of your region.
  • Enable Flyout : Enabling this option allows you to make a flyout countdown tab appears on the site’s front-end.
  • Flyout Position : Set the position of the flyout countdown tab.
  • Enable Button in Flyout : Enabling this option, you can add a button on the flyout tab. Button text can be defined under content tab.

These above two options can be found only if you put a checkmark on the Enable Flyout option.

  • Days : Set the timer date, after which you want the timer to stop.
  • Hours : Set hours for the timer.
  • Minutes : Set minutes for the timer.
  • Enable Cookie : To enable this option, system would save visitor’s cookie and shows him realtime timer if he back again.
  • Cookie Validity : Define the number of days you want the system to store a user’s cookie of.

These above five options can be found only if Evergreen is selected from the countdown type drop-down.

  • Hide Days? : Hide days from the timer.
  • Hide Hours? : Hide hours from the timer.
  • Hide Minutes? : Hide minutes from the timer.
  • Hide Seconds? : Hide seconds from the timer.
  • Custom Label? : Enabling this option lets you put your custom label for the timer days, hours, minutes, and seconds. After enabling this option, you can find four options underneath this. Days : Put your custom label for days. Hours : Put your custom label for hours. Minutes : Put your custom label for minutes. Seconds : Put your custom label for seconds.

Flyout Settings

WP Deadlines

  • Flyout on Specific Page : This option allows you to define the flyout countdown timer for specific pages. First to enable the option and then pick the page from the Select Pages field, in which you want to show the timer.

This option can only be found if the Enable Flyout option is set on.

Use WP Deadline in Visual Composer

  • Click on Add Element button.

  • Click on WP Deadline tab at the top.

  • You will find a new element named WP Deadline under this tab. Click to add it on the page.

  • A popup modal window will let you choose the existing deadline countdown from the Select Deadline drop-down and you are done.

Use WP Deadline in Elementor

  • Click on ADD NEW SECTION to add a new section in order to place WP Deadline.

  • Search WP Deadline on the elements list. Having found, drag and drop it on the newly created section.

  • From the Content settings, choose an existing deadline from the Select Deadline drop-down menu.

Use WP Deadline in Contact Form 7

  • Head over to Contact from the left sidebar and click on Add New to make new contact form.

  • Click on wp-deadlines at the top of the form composer area.

  • Choose an existing deadline from the Select Dropdown drop-down menu.
  • Click on the Insert Tag button from the bottom of the module.

You can notice that, a shortcode has been included on the form composer area.

  • Now, click on the Save button from the right-top to save it and you are done.

Use WP Deadline in WooCommerce

  • Click on any of the existing product to enter the edit mode.

  • Under the product data tab, you can find an option named WP Deadlines, click on it.
  • Pu check mark on Enable WP Deadlines and choose an existing deadline timer from the Select Deadlines drop-down.

  • Finally, update the product information using the Update button at the right-top.
