Joomla! 3.3 is going to be released in this month having many of outstanding feature and The Production Leadership Team (PLT) is claiming Joomla 3.3 will be the most stable joomla platform ever! This version aims to “Do more with Joomla” especially with improvements in terms of Security, Conflict reduction, Cloud storage API support, semantic microdata and so on.

ThemeXpert Template

Because of radical changes in Joomla 3.3 we are preparing our guts for the official release. Our developer team are in hectic on updating Expose Framework and Quickstart Pack. All our Expose4 based template compatible with Joomla 3.3 and we are actively testing everything so it ain’t break anything.

ThemeXpert Extension

All our extension in extension directory like Xpert Contents, Xpert Slider, Xpert Tabs use jQuery library, that means they are already ready to be compatible with Joomla 3.3. You can expect that our extensions are ready to cope up with Joomla 3.3 release. Expose framework for 3.3 In expose we have to maintain a lot of core extension override. J3.3 going to add microdata for its core element it require a major rework on our framework override. We will maintain a new branch on framework repo for j3.3 and onward. We’ll still maintain the Expose 4 branch but will not add any new feature in it, it will only receive bug fixes.

Quickstart pack

From Joomla 3.3 release we’ll only provide our template quickstart with Joomla 3.3. Till now we are providing Joomla 2.5 Quickstart pack and we receive numerous request to support latest Joomla build.

The newness in Joomla 3.3 release is particularly focus on improving shield of security; this is why the minimum PHP requirement in Joomla 3.3 has been raised to PHP 5.3.10, which provides Two-Factor Authentication, improved Bcrypt password hashing and Remember Me area, many of critical vulnerabilities fixed. Thus Joomla security has been more powerful and strong owing to this improvement.

Fully jQuery

MooTools Javascript library has been associated with Joomla CMS since its birth. Because of technical enhancement, all back-end and front-end scripts (almost 25 script elements) will be making the jump to jQuery. The migration of script will help to lessen the size of Joomla website by loading JQuery, used by many of Joomla extensions. This migration also avoids duplication of Js libraries and resolve conflicts between MooTools and JQuery. Cloud Storage APIs The integration of Cloud Storage APIs in Joomla has opened a new door supporting for cloud storage providers such as Amazon S3, Dropbox, Google, Rackspace


Joomla! 3.3 release has added marvelous SEO capabilities to Joomla. The microdata will permit to identify the article’s author, add microdata info to breadcrumb links, get the rich snippets to bring forth your content for reviews, ratings, etc, so that Search engines can index this additional data and then provide better results for your visitors and better understand the information you provide them with.
